The Mercy and the Grace of GOD

“Great things HE hath taught us, great things HE hath done, And great our rejoicing through

JESUS, the SON; But purer and higher, and greater will be, our wonder, our transport when JESUS

we see.

Praise the LORD!  Praise the LORD! Let the earth hear HIS voice! Praise the LORD!

Praise the LORD! Let the people rejoice! O come to the FATHER, through JESUS the SON; And give HIM

the glory! Great things, HE hath done!”  Psalm 29:2.

Daughter of Zion, Grace Adetomilola Olawumi Masekunola Abike Adeogun, we, your family, friends, and the

redeemed of the LORD, remember you today 03 May, 2012 on the occasion of the 1st Memorial Service in your honor as you continue to rest in the bosom of our LORD JESUS CHRIST.

We thank GOD ALMIGHTY for your life. Born on 16 May, 1981, educated at the Federal Government College, Kaduna, Nigeria and the University of Montana, Missoula, United States of America.  With a BA in Sociology (With Honors), you returned to your fatherland, Nigeria in February 2006 to participate in the National Youth Service Corps.  Thereafter, you worked conscientiously up till Friday, 29 April, 2011. AND then you departed to be with the LORD on 03 May, 2011 as the Bible says in Philippians 1:23 “.....having a desire to depart and be with the CHRIST which is far better.”  The testimonies we received of you are very heart-warming.  Mrs. Patricia Sanders in USA said of you: Grace was a very faithful, strong, and brave young lady.  She was an exceptional young woman.  I know you are very proud of the person she grew to be and I am very grateful that we got to know her.”  One of your Professors at U of M, Professor Peter Koehn, said of you: I am still in a state of shock over the news which just reached me.  I remember Grace so clearly.  Her enthusiasm and radiance was infectious.  Her potential was unbounded and her faith was limitless.  We take consolation in the short but very fruitful life you lived.  Rest in perfect peace.”  Your boss, with whom you worked longest here in Nigeria, Ms. Valerie Rhoe of IFPRI said of you: “When learning of Grace’s passing, I wouldn’t/couldn’t believe it to be true.  Grace was a wonderful young lady to work with.  She was dedicated to high performance and of high energy.  I often saw a smile on her face that just brightened up the room.  May her soul rest in peace.”  AND then your Pastor, Pastor Daniel Aleriwon, said of you: A Jewel is gone, leaving behind the feeling of softness that signify your simplicity.  Sleep well, daughter of Zion.”

AND then we saw in your diary of Sunday 30 January, 2011 many unique prayer points including a prayer for PEACE in Nigeria and the World”!!  We are grateful to you “T Love” for such great insight and thoughtfulness, and we know the LORD has answered all your prayers to HIS glory.  Your last statement for upwards of 45 minutes prior to your passing on was: THANK YOU JESUS.  This is so comforting, and so, we sing this song to the LORD in deep appreciation: “What can we say unto the LORD, all we have to say is THANK YOU LORD.  Thank you LORD, thank you LORD, all we have to say is THANK YOU LORD.  Continue to rest in perfect peace with our FATHER until we meet to part no more.  We love you so very much, BUT HE loves you much, much, MORE.

Copies of this Holy Bible is being distributed in your memory, with a prayer that as many as receive/study it, will know the LORD JESUS CHRIST as their SAVIOR. Psalm 34:1-22.
